Review session for Exam #1 is Friday, February 10th, 5-7 pm, in Franz 1178. Come and go as you please, but be aware that it might end early.

Next Monday, February 13th, is the first closed-book exam. Coverage is through material in Chapter 4, forces (includes some of lecture on Friday, February 10th). Exam structure is as announced in class. The in-lecture quiz from Wednesday, February 8th is part of the coverage of this exam (key has been posted on the quiz page).

Lab #2 has been posted on the lab page. This, of course, is only for the students enrolled in the lab section 3L. It is due Friday, February 17th.

Next Monday, February 13th, is the first closed-book exam.

This Wednesday, February 8th, is the next scheduled in-lecture quiz.

The first take-home quiz was distributed in lecture on Wednesday, January 25th. It is due before lecture starts on Friday, January 27th. A PDF file of the quiz is posted on the quiz page of this website, and you may email the responses directly to me before Friday's lecture if you are not going to be in class on Friday or expect to be late, since late quizzes are not accepted for credit. If you email quiz responses as insurance in case you may be late, you can still turn in a hardcopy form on time and have that be counted.

When emailing quiz responses, type the responses directly into the body of a plain text email. DO NOT ATTACH DOCUMENTS TO THE EMAIL; do not create formatted files or images for the email, as they may cause the email to bounce.
