American
Orient Express trains are famous private cars. They were modified
from 1940 - 1950s coaches including baggage car, dining car, sleeper and
parlor car. The most famous one in American Orient Express is the Parlor
car. It was made in 1948 and originally used in New York Central's 20th
Century Limited. Its original name is Sandy Creek, but changed to New York,
now. I saw these trains in Amtrak Los Angeles Yard in 1996 summer.
