These pictures are taken near my apartment on Bundy Drive
during the Malibu fires in October, and another in January on a clear
day with snow covered mountain tops in the background, which is special since
on regular days in LA I cannot even see the mountains in the first place.

In December Laura and I made an attempt to make
potato gnocchi from scratch for Diego's birthday.
We ended up with three trays of gnocchi made up of a
little bit too much flour, but we had fun!
