Chi Epsilon Pi (XEP) is the graduate student association for the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at UCLA. The organization works to support graduate students in the department through organizing academic and social activities, and by representating student interests to the department, university, and student government.

XEP was founded at UCLA in 1951, and is now a national meteorological honor society. Our chapter is effectively a graduate student organization, although membership for undergraduates is permitted, see the Constitution for more information.

You can navigate through the site using the links in the bar on the left side of the page, that should get you where you're going. The most active part of the site is the Announcements section, where we post a lot of useful information about the events in and around the Department.

New graduate students in the department should also browse through the Grad Handbook, a growing collection of advice, tips, and tricks from experienced grad students to new ones.
