System Requirements
UCLA VERB-1D code with Data Assimilation can be run on any platform and requires installed version of Matlab.
Limitations
- The current public release of the VERB 1D is a prototype scientific software for space physics studies. This prototype should be considered preliminary and should only be used in close collaboration with the code developers Dr. Yuri Shprits and other members of the UCLA VERB team.
While the VERB-1D with data assimilation code is currently not export-controlled, we are nevertheless required to ensure that we identify all users of this code. For this reason, we require that all users sign a hardcopy version of the License Agreement, and mailed of faxed to the address specified in the license agreement.
Distribution of VERB-1D with data assimilation can only occur once a signed License Agreement is received at UCLA. Redistribution is not allowed.
What do I need to do?
To register and obtain the VERB-1D with data assimilation software:
1. Verify that you meet the requirements and limitations listed above.
2. Read the
license agreement, accept and print it.
3. Fill in and submit the registration form.
4. Sign the printed license agreement and mail or fax it to UCLA.
